About Albert:
Thank you so very much for visiting Stage Prep! I am a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in NY. I have taught in both the NYC and LA campuses and frequently teach master classes for current and potential AMDA students. I was blessed to make my Broadway debut playing the role of Eddie in the Broadway Company of Mamma Mia! and have most recently been seen in the 2022 Broadway revival of Into The Woods with Sara Bareillis and its 2023 National tour. I’ve been lucky enough to be on both sides of the table for multiple high profile productions. My passion for working with and helping aspiring artists has spanned over 20 years as both an educator and performer. If I only knew then what I know now! That’s what I want to teach you. I look forward to sharing the stage with you!
THE PROGRAM
During this program, we will meet once a week over a span of 4 weeks at Westchester Dance Artists in Ossining, NY. You will work on 2 to 3 contrasting songs of your choice with a supportive group of open level and like-minded aspiring artists. We will focus on telling a story through song while bringing as much of YOU as possible to the character and music in a safe, inclusive space. All of this while watching others work and learning how to take and be receptive to vocal and acting notes.
At the end of the intensive, you will have had professional headshots taken (only those who complete the full 4 sessions), and perform in an intimate showcase for family and friends while sharing the stage with select industry professionals. Regardless of your musical theater experience and goals, Stage Prep will provide you with tools to confidently perform, audition, and believe in your voice in more ways than one. Our mission is to craft your confidence so that it transfers to more than just the stage.
